The following are programs District 75 has provided during previous years for summer programming.
This program allows students to make up skills or close achievement gaps in language arts and mathematics. Classes are small, and instruction is individualized. Classes for each area last around one hour.
A wide variety of educational enrichment classes are offered during the same time slots as Summer Scholars.
Accelerated Summer School
An extensive, four-hour daily program is provided for students on acceleration plans who can benefit from additional literacy and math support. Classes are small, and instruction is individualized. Appropriate modifications can be made for special needs students when necessary.
August Boost Camp
A three-hour daily program is offered for three weeks to primary-aged students needing additional literacy support. This program is funded through grants.
English Language Learners (ELL) Summer Camp
This three-week, three-hour daily program is offered to ELL students
and is funded through grants.
